PADM 6000 - Historical and Legal Foundations of American Public Administration This course is designed to introduce major ideas, developments, and figures in the field of public administration. As such, it serves as the primary course for instilling a sense of historical development of the field. The course also introduces professional codes of ethics as well as American legal institutions and processes and discusses the relationship between the public service and the legal system.
