PT 6280 - Research Foundations for Physical Therapists This course introduces the entry-level health professional student to evidence-based practice and clinical research in physical therapy. The skills learned in this course enable students to locate and review relevant scientific literature, conduct critical appraisals of scientific and professional articles, and develop general research questions. Assignments throughout the course require student application of the information. Teaching methods include lecture, discussion, small group activities, and use of computerized data analysis.
Credits: 3 hours
