ME 6350 - Turbulence The physical nature of turbulence. Dimensional analyses. The basic equations for studying the turbulent transport of momentum and heat and their dynamical significance. Characteristics of turbulent wall- and free-shear layers. Probabilities and statistics related to turbulence and experimental methods in fluid flow.
Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisites: ME 5300 and ME 5600.
