FIN 6219 - Essentials of Health Care Financial Management This course focuses on introducing the key financial management principles, concepts and decisions that create value for health care organizations. The course will cover a broad range of topics, including an overview of the health care system; reimbursement methodologies; health care accounting; economic value and market value added; managing cash, billing and collections; and an analysis of financing major capital investments. Budgeting and pricing will also be reviewed.
