NUR 6640 - Field Practicum This course includes 135 practicum hours (90 practice and 45 project development) and offers students an opportunity to apply newly developed skills and relate theoretical content, as presented in core and specialty courses, to real practice situations. Students will create or expand on current research or planning with a clinical or community organization. This might include needs assessment, evaluation, and comparison of interventions.
Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisite: Admission to the Master of Science in Nursing program, or instructor approval.
Credits: 3 hours
Restrictions Restricted to Masters of Science in Nursing or instructor approval. Notes: Open to graduate students only.
