ACTY 4100 - Internship in Accounting

Students obtain accounting-related employment, where they gain professional accounting knowledge and skills. Students are required to write a final report. Each employer will provide an evaluation of the student. A student must be enrolled in ACTY 4100 while meeting the requirements of the course. This course must be taken on a credit/no credit basis and does not count toward the accounting major as one of the required two accounting electives. It does count as a general college elective and counts toward the 150 credit hours required to be CPA eligible.

Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisite: Written approval of the faculty coordinator.

Credits: 1 to 4 hours

Notes: May be repeated for credit with departmental approval.
