DANC 3450 - Contemporary Dance History Critical analysis of dance from 1900 to the present. Aesthetics and philosophies of leading artists are examined in relation to broader social, political, and cultural trends. Students write several short papers and prepare a research paper; examinations focus on essay writing. This course is approved as a writing-intensive course.
Credits: 3 hours
Restrictions: Junior standing and Dance major/minor only.
