ECON 5880 - Economic Development An analysis of the economic factors affecting economic growth and poverty in low-income countries. Both macro and micro economic topics will be studied, including topics such as growth theory, poverty measurement, evaluation methods, market failures, and governance.
Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisites: Junior standing and 12 or more credit hours in economics, including ECON 2010 and ECON 2020, or department approval.
Credits: 3 hours
