HIST 3150 - Popular Art and Architecture in America An introduction to and survey of popular architectural and artistic expression in American life from the point of initial European contact with Native American groups through the present. Focus on a variety of material and classifications of art and architecture, including high-style, vernacular, folk, popular, commercial, ethnic, and regionally-oriented materials. This course satisfies WMU Essential Studies Level 2: Exploration and Discovery – Artistic Theory and Practice Category.
