HSV 3700 - The Health System and Its Environment


This course provides a descriptive analysis of the organization of the health system. The student who participates can expect to gain an understanding of the structure of the health services as well as the operational processes of the service system and the ways in which consumers make use of the system. The analysis focuses on the interplay of forces within the system as well as behind the system and its environment.

Credits: 3 hours

Restrictions: Restricted to all Concentration Programs associated with Healthcare Services and Sciences (see your CHHS advisor if you have questions), all minors in Healthcare Services and Sciences, all Public Health majors, all Social Work majors, all student planned program and university studies majors, and majors/minor in Health Informatics and Information Management.
