SPED 5300 - Introduction to Special Education This course introduces students to the characteristics and needs of learners with sensory, physical, mental, emotional, and learning disabilities. Students develop an understanding of the psychological, sociological, philosophical, legal, and educational aspects of each type of disability.
Note: Open to upper-level undergraduate and graduate students.
