PSY 6920 - Grant Writing in the Behavioral Sciences This course will provide an overview of the process used to secure extramural funds for research and training in the behavioral sciences. Students will learn how to find potential funding sources, develop ideas that may merit funding, develop a budget, prepare grant applications, and react to reviewers’ comments. Students will prepare a grant proposal and evaluate proposals prepared by others.
Note: Open to graduate students only.
Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisite: PSY 6100 or PSY 6166
Credits: 3 hours
Restrictions: Restricted to master’s or doctoral students in psychology.
