ED 5950 - Experiential Education and Place-Based Learning This course is an invitation to the world of experiential education and place-based learning. In context of current policies and practices in American education, it explores the benefit of “learning by doing,” and the potential of “schools without walls. This course is informed by philosophical conceptions, psychological perspectives, and best pedagogical practices, and is designed for aspiring educators and youth development professionals.
Note: Open to upper-level undergraduate and graduate students.
