MPH 6320 - Public Health Systems Administration


Students will explore the concepts, principles, competencies and practices in the fields of public health administration focusing on management and leadership. Students will learn about funding and resource allocation decisions, strategic planning, professionalism and ethics, conflict resolution and negotiation skills, and organizational practices of health professionals in a variety of settings. Students will learn how to lead individuals and teams in public health and healthcare organizations.

Note: Open to graduate students only.

Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisite: MPH 6310 with a grade of “CB” or better.

Credits: 3 hours

Restrictions: Restricted to Master in Public Health.
