TEL 5250 - Grammar Instruction for ESL/Bilingual Education

This three-credit undergraduate course is a requirement for the TESOL major. TEL 5250 raises pre-service teachers’ awareness of the grammatical structures of the English language and which may be more challenging for English learners to acquire. In addition, the course will focus on strategies and techniques for teaching grammar to English learners in meaningful and contextualized ways.

Note: Open to upper-level undergraduate and graduate students.

Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisite: TEL 5150 with a grade of “C” or better
