MBA 6007 - Strategic Management An advanced examination of the tasks of formulating short run and long-run strategy for the organization. Using strategic cases and/or simulation, the course includes methods of 1) developing opportunities from analyses of environmental and market trends, (2) understanding company strengths, weaknesses, and competencies and (3) directing the integration of strategy with operating plans through formal and informal networks. This course is designed to provide a total business perspective.
Note: Open to graduate students only.
Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisites: MBA 6003, MBA 6004, MBA 6005, and MBA 6006
Credits: 3 hours
Restrictions: Enrollment in HCOB graduate business courses requires admission to the MBA or MSA program or the approval of the Director of Graduate Business Programs.
