COM 4840 - Health Communication

Studies concepts and theories relevant to the maintenance and enhancement of effective communication in health care settings. Emphasis is given to the study and application of communication theories, to the transactions which occur among health professionals, and between professionals and clients/patients. This course may be offered in an accelerated format. This course meets the student learning outcomes in the WMU Essential Studies Level 3: Connections, Local and National Perspectives Course Category.
