FCS 2600 - Nutrition for Health Sciences


A study of the role of nutrition in health and chronic disease prevention. Explores issues in food systems and sustainability and domestic and international factors affecting the availability of a safe, nutritious food supply. 

Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisites: Either (CHEM 1120/1130 or CHEM 1510/1520) and CHEM 1530/1540 and either (BIOS 2400 or BIOS 3500 with concurrency) with a grade of “C” or better in all prerequisites.
