GWS 2010 - LGBT Studies

This course provides an overview of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) communities and identities, with an emphasis on history and social justice struggles. We will consider LGBT concerns related to a variety of institutions and structures, such as politics, schools, families, religion, and the workplace. This course satisfies WMU Essential Studies Level 2: Exploration and Discovery – Societies and Cultures Category. This course also meets the Diversity and Inclusion student learning outcome.
