HISP 2650 - Hispanic Culture in the U.S. This course will study the establishment and development in the U.S. of the culture of large groups of Hispanic, such as those of Cuban, Mexican, and Puerto Rican origin, as well as numerous others. Attention will be given to current manifestations of Hispanic culture in the arts, the media, education, and public life. This course does not count toward a Spanish major or minor. This course satisfies WMU Essential Studies Level 2: Exploration and Discovery – Societies and Cultures Category. This course also meets the Diversity and Inclusion student learning outcome.
