FCS 2530 - Fashion Illustration

This course introduces concepts, techniques, and uses of various drawing techniques and media that facilitate the manual rendering and visual communication of ideas in the fashion industry. Focus on drawing proportional fashion model croquis, and flats, and on the rendering of fabric, colors, prints, patterns, textures, accessories, and garment details. Terminology and recognition of garment details will be covered.

Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisite: FCS 1550

Credits: 3 hours

Restrictions: Restricted to majors in Fashion Merchandising and Design.
