GEOG 3550 - Contemporary Issues in Resources Management

Examination of selected contemporary natural resource and environmental problems, such as questions of natural resource adequacy, environmental pollution, energy shortages, political and economic problems related to resource management, and individual studies of local, national and global environmental problems. This course satisfies WMU Essential Studies Level 3: Connections – Global Perspectives Category. This course also meets the Planetary Sustainability student learning outcome.

Credits: 3 hours
