MGMT 4646 - Entrepreneurship and Innovation Field Study The course is designed to experientially expand student thinking to encompass the global perspectives of entrepreneurship patterns, by bringing students directly to various geographic centers of entrepreneurship, technology, design and innovation. This is a 3-credit, experiential course combining class work the weeks prior to a 3 to 21 day field-study in a chosen geographic center. Some sections may incorporate shorter multiple field study travel trips. In the field, students will meet with senior executives, entrepreneurs, and venture capitalists. While focusing on entrepreneurship, this course is designed to appeal to all majors. Course work and visits will have a varied focus on areas impacted by technology; including start-up, executive, marketing, finance, operations, research, and innovation functions.
Note: May be repeated for credit.
