AVS 1915 - Aviation Regulations and Human Factors Lab Discusses the regulatory framework and legal environment relevant to aircraft maintenance and mechanics, including the Federal Aviation Regulations rule-making process. Explains the applicability of FAA and manufacturers’ publications and guidance materials pertaining to aircraft airworthiness. This course also brings in human factors, emphasizing its importance to the aviation industry. Students will demonstrate the ability to make an aircraft maintenance entry and examine for accuracy and completeness various forms and records.
Prerequisites & Corequisites: Corequisites: AVS 1910
