AVS 1930 - Aircraft Inspections
Discusses inspection concepts, techniques, and tools in determining aircraft/component(s) airworthiness. Introduces corrosion and its effects on aircraft structures by focusing on corrosion-prone areas, cleaning, and preventive procedures. Details aircraft ground operations and servicing procedures, emphasizing safety practices during towing, taxiing, and fueling/refueling. Students will demonstrate an understanding of safety precautions related to aircraft servicing, cleaning, and corrosion control.
This course aligns with the Mechanic ACS according to 14 CFR Part 147.
