AVS 1940 - Aircraft Hardware & Fluid Lines Discusses rigid and flexible fluid lines used in aircraft, including their fabrication and inspection procedures. Introduces materials and hardware commonly employed in aircraft, their general application, and identification markings. Explains torquing and safetying requirements and procedures. Students will be able to compare and contrast the properties of various metallic and non-metallic materials and their application in aircraft structures.
This course aligns with the Mechanic ACS according to 14 CFR Part 147.
Prerequisites & Corequisites: Corequisites: AVS 1945
