AVS 1950 - Aircraft Electrical
Introduces the fundamentals of Electricity and Electronics. Discusses electron theory, magnetism, basic electrical laws and circuits, electrical components, and devices, including circuit analysis procedures. Students will demonstrate an understanding of voltage, current, resistance, and power as they apply to electrical circuits.
This course aligns with the Mechanic ACS according to 14 CFR Part 147.
Prerequisites & Corequisites: Corequisites: AVS 1955
Credits: 2 hours
Restrictions: Aviation Technical Operations majors
