AVS 1955 - Aircraft Electrical Lab
Discusses electron theory, magnetism, basic electrical laws and circuits, electrical components, and devices, including aircraft batteries. Explains circuit measurement, component testing, and troubleshooting procedures. Students will demonstrate the ability to measure voltage, current, and resistance and compute power as they apply to electrical circuits.
This course aligns with the Mechanic ACS according to 14 CFR Part 147.
Prerequisites & Corequisites: Corequisites: AVS 1950
Credits: 1 hour
Restrictions: Aviation Technical Operations majors
