AVS 1925 - Aircraft Basic Science Lab Relates various aviation applications, such as the theory of flight, engine and aircraft performance, to basic rules and laws of Mathematics and Physics. Discusses aircraft weight and balance procedures and computations as well as drawings, charts, and schematics used in aircraft maintenance. Students will demonstrate the ability to interpret drawings, graphs, and charts and to perform weight and balance calculations.
This course aligns with the Mechanic ACS according to 14 CFR Part 147.
Prerequisites & Corequisites: Corequisites: AVS 1920
Credits: 1 hour
Restrictions: Aviation Technical Operations majors
