AVS 2950 - Airframe Rigging Studies design types and operation of fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft, focusing on flight controls’ construction, function, and rigging. Discusses airframe inspection types, processes, requirements, and compliance with applicable publications. Students will be able to identify and describe the procedures of balancing flight controls and flight control rigging inspection.
Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisites: AVS 1220 and AVS 1910 and AVS 1920 and AVS 1930 and AVS 1940 and AVS 1950. A grade of “C” or better is required.
Corequisites: AVS 2955
Credits: 2 hours
Restrictions: Aviation Technical Operations majors
