LS 1045 - Literacy, Inquiry, and Active Learning

This course is designed to provide opportunities to examine literacy and learning as critical components of academic success and life-long inquiry. Students will explore the nature of reading by analyzing and synthesizing complex information and multiple perspectives. Students will investigate written and digital information to engage in inquiry and create multimodal projects that demonstrate and represent new knowledge and literacy skills. This course satisfies WMU Essential Studies Level 1 - Inquiry and Engagement.
