FCS 3330 - Digital Patternmaking for Fashion


This course will apply pattern-making principles and techniques to draft and manipulate patterns. Students will learn techniques and concepts in using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) pattern-making software, which is widely used in the fashion industry to create and modify paper patterns and drafts. 

Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisites: FCS 1240, FCS 2220, FCS 2240, and FCS 3220; with a minimum grade of “C” in all prerequisites.

Credits: 3 hours

Restrictions:  Restricted to majors in Fashion Merchandising and Design: Design and Development.
