SLHS 5010 - Principles of Speech Science Overview of the anatomy, physics, biology, physiology, and psychology of human speech production and speech perception. This course is intended to focus not only on well-established concepts in speech science, but also on the many research areas in which our understanding is incomplete.
Note: Open to upper-level undergraduate and graduate students.
Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisite: Department approval
Credits: 3 hours
Restrictions: Restricted to majors in Speech Pathology and Audiology, majors in Speech, Language & Hearing Sciences, masters in Speech Pathology and Audiology, or masters in Speech-Language Pathology.
