SPAN 2010 - Intermediate Spanish II As the continuation of Spanish 2000, Spanish 2010 presupposes an intermediate knowledge of vocabulary and grammatical structures in Spanish. The course further develops all four language skills (i.e., listening, speaking, reading, and writing) as well as nuanced knowledge about Spanish-speaking cultures. The students will engage in both familiar and more formal communicative tasks in a variety of social situations. They will perform tasks such as expressing preferences, describing past and future events discussing hypothetical situations, and giving suggestions. The students will learn major features of the Spanish-speaking cultures, analyzing connections between products, practices and perspectives.
