ACTY 6110 - Managerial Accounting This course emphasizes the use of accounting information for planning, control, and decision making. The managerial accounting topics covered include job order costing, cost allocation, service costing, activity-based costing, standard costing, transfer pricing, and global accounting issues. The course is not available for credit to students who have completed ACTY 3220 or its equivalent; MSA students are not permitted to enroll in ACTY 6110.
Note: Open to graduate students only. Offered fall, spring, summer II (Grand Rapids only).
Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisite: ACTY 6010 or (ACTY 2100 and ACTY 2110 with a grade of “C” or better) or equivalent.
Credits: 3 hours
Restrictions: Enrollment in HCOB graduate business courses requires admission to the MBA program or approval of the Director of Graduate Business Programs.
