ACTY 6240 - Business Tax Planning An advanced course in business taxation involving the identification and analysis of tax problems. Income tax strategy is studied involving the timing of income, types of business organizations, and the various alternative tax treatments. Case studies will be used, and research in taxation will be emphasized.
Note: Open to graduate students only.
Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisite: ACTY 3240 with a grade of “C” or better.
Credits: 3 hours
Restrictions: Enrollment in HCOB graduate business courses requires admission to the MBA or MSA program or the approval of the Director of Graduate Business Programs.
