BLS 6040 - Issues in Travel This course presents theoretical and practical content that facilitates effective teaching of independent travel skills to individuals who are visually impaired. The topics of this course include assessment of environmental accessibility, use of sound in navigation, and identification of risk in travel situations.
Note: Open to graduate students only.
Credits: 2 hours
Restrictions: Restricted to masters in Orientation and Mobility, Orientation and Mobility for Children, Teaching Children with Visual Impairment/Orientation and Mobility for Children, and graduate certificate in Orientation and Mobility.
