BLS 6940 - Principles of Orientation and Mobility This course is concerned with the development and current status of orientation and mobility as an occupation. It emphasizes the perceptual and cognitive bases of travel with impaired vision as well as teaching methods and human interrelationships which are essential for effectively instructing adults who are visually impaired in skills of independent travel.
