BUS 6160 - Law, Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility This course introduces students to the influences of ethics, law and society on corporate responsibility. An examination of a firm’s mission, goals, and business strategy will be considered within an ethical and legal framework, including issues of sustainability. Diverse viewpoints regarding the nature and limits of corporate social responsibility will be explored in the context of alternative strategic choices for the firm. The course will provide opportunities to analyze the legal and ethical implications of business decisions and to devise viable solutions, including sustainability efforts.
Note: Open to graduate students only
Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisites: Admission to the MBA or MSA program or approval of the MBA advisor.
