EMR 6410 - Fundamentals of Measurement in the Behavioral Sciences The criteria by which instruments are selected and developed serve as the central focus of this course. Information regarding the theory and practice of measurement and testing are applied across educational, social, and behavioral settings. Students are expected critically to evaluate instrumentation as well as to develop a plan for the creation of an instrument.
Note: Open to graduate students only.
Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisite: EMR 5410 and EMR 6450 with grades B or better or the faculty member teaching the course must approve any prerequisite exception.
Credits: 3 hours
