ENGL 6900 - Scholarship and Writing in the Profession


In this seminar, students will analyze and evaluate journals and articles in areas relevant to a research topic, review and edit a scholarly or pedagogical essay with the support of their peers and an expert reviewer, and prepare for oral presentation and discussion of the work in a public event. This course also acts as the culminating requirement for the M.A. Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prior completion of at least 18 hours of graduate English credit.

Note: Graded on a credit/no credit basis. Open to graduate students only.

Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisites: At least 18 hours of credit toward the Master of Arts in English.

Credits: 3 hours
