FIN 6220 - Corporate Financial Restructuring Quantitative analysis and evaluation of the financial aspects of various corporate restructuring strategies such as bankruptcy reorganizations, divestitures, leveraged buyouts, spin-offs, break-ups, and mergers and acquisitions. The course emphasizes the design and valuation of structured debt, equity and hybrid financing techniques in order to resolve particular issuer or investor problems that cannot be solved by conventional methods.
Note: Open to graduate students only.
Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisite: FIN 6120
Credits: 3 hours
Restrictions: Restrictions Enrollment in MScFin program and to HCOB MBA and MSA students with MScFin program director approval and the approval of the Director of Graduate Business Programs for MBA students and MSA advisor for MSA students.
