FIN 6250 - Financial Strategy The main focus of this course is on value creation. It attempts to bridge the gap between theory and practice. Topics include financial analysis and valuation modelling, quantitative risk assessment and management, working capital management, capital budgeting, capital structure theory and dividend policy. Students identify problems facing the financial executive; apply appropriate financial analysis and valuation techniques to aid in recommending the best course of action utilizing financial theory.

Credits: 3 hours
Restrictions: Restrictions Enrollment in MScFIN graduate program. Permission for enrollment of MBA or MSA program students by approval of the MScFIN Program Director.
