GEOG 5010 - Introduction to Geographic Information Science

Introduction to basic principles of Geographic Information Science (GISci) focused on Geographic Information Systems (GIS) with applications to a variety of problems using established data sources and repositories. Includes fundamental principles of cartographic design and communication. A first course in a curricular sequence developing GIS professional expertise.

Note: Open to upper-level undergraduate and graduate students.
