GEOG 5710 - Planning Theory A survey of the history and development of planning thought in the United States. Topics include history of planning; theory about the manner in which planning and policy-making is undertaken - including economic political, social theories of government intervention; contributions of the significant persons, events, publications, projects, organizations, plans, and programs at local, state, and national levels to the evolution of planning practice and the profession in America.
Note: Open to upper-level undergraduate and graduate students.
Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisites: GEOG 2560 or Graduate standing or instructor approval
