SWRK 6450 - Administration in Human Service Organizations The course introduces students to elements of administration in human service organizations. It focuses on project management, budgeting, fund development and marketing, and the role of governing boards in nonprofit organizations. The course is required for social work students concentrating in Policy, Planning, and Administration. It is also intended to serve human services practitioners who are engaged in policy, planning, and administration.
Note: Open to graduate students only.
Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisite: SWRK 6100 or SWRK 6320 or approval of the MSW Coordinator
Credits: 3 hours
Restrictions: Restricted to Master’s in Social Work: Policy Planning and Administration.
