SWRK 6600 - Seminar on Social Work Practice with Individuals, Families, and Groups This course provides a conceptual framework for understanding, analyzing, and implementing social work practice with individuals, families, and groups congruent with social work values. This course also focuses on concrete relationship-building and maintenance skills necessary for working with diverse populations, e.g., gender, race, religion, sexual orientations, age, physical capabilities, socio-economic status, and political orientations.
Note: Open to graduate students only.
Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisite: Admission to the advanced standing M.S.W. program
Credits: 3 hours
Restrictions: Restricted to Master’s in Social Work.
