MUS 5240 - Electronic Music Performance Students learn to design and execute live electronic music performances with a computer and controllers. These performances will involve triggering audio and MIDI clips, real-time manipulation of audio and MIDI clips, live recording and incorporation of those recordings in real-time performances, and application of effects to live sound sources and rendered content, in addition to automated, performed, and predetermined parameter control of instrument and effect plug-ins.
Note: Open to upper-level undergraduate and graduate students.
