FIN 6555 - Fixed Income Analysis A detailed analysis of the investigation of fixed income securities as long-term investment media. Evaluation will include issuers perspective and pricing versus value to the investor, retail and institutional. Investigates the techniques of bond pricing, investigate quantitative methods in risk, return and pricing via modelling for duration and convexity. The course will consider the fixed income mechanics, markets, institutions, and instruments important to the investment process.

Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisites: FIN 6120
Credits: 3 hours
Restrictions: Restrictions Enrollment in MScFin program and to HCOB MBA and MSA students with MScFin program director approval and the approval of the Director of Graduate Business Programs for MBA students and MSA advisor for MSA students.
