HPHE 5910 - Clinical Exercise Physiology I This serves as the first of two courses that introduces exercise management for individuals who experience chronic disease and disabilities. This course will concentrate on metabolic, cardiovascular and pulmonary conditions. Students will develop and apply knowledge of testing procedures and program development for special populations, including the pathophysiology of various diagnoses and specific effects of exercise response, training, and contraindicated exercises.
